NLP Research Scientist

Cohere is hiring an NLP Research Scientist to advance the capabilities of our enterprise language models. You'll work on core NLP research including retrieval-augmented generation, long-context understanding, multilingual models, and instruction following.

You'll publish research, collaborate with our engineering teams to productionize improvements, and help define Cohere's research roadmap. This is a fully remote role with the option to work from our offices in Toronto, New York, or London.

• PhD in NLP, ML, or related field
• Strong publication record in top NLP/ML venues (ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML)
• Experience with large language models
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
